Their food were all yumm.  Most of their food is kinda traditional Vietnamese cuisine with modern touch.  The service was lovely as well.  We had a really nice dinner in Sapa Rose until we come back again the next day to try their special lunch menu which look very appetising.

We had breakfast in this little cafe in Launceston before we heading down south to our next stop, Hobart.  Sadly, I just found out today that this cafe had closed, what a pitiful.  They serve a really delicious breakfast with big serving portion.

Half way to Hobart, we make a brief stop at Ross.  A small little town, pretty to be photographed and the view from the Ross bridge was stunning.

Cadbury Chocolate Factory, Hobart

Cadbury Chocolate factory was my ultimate place that I want to visit in this trip.  Once I arrived there (it was April 2012), I just found out that they don't allow people to go inside the factory anymore.  Soooo... soooooo... disappointed.  We only can watch the video of chocolate making process.  Because around end of 2011, they had a huge cut off employees and now, the chocolate's production mainly has been replaced with Robot.  However, we still got a bar of Cadbury chocolate for sample and few little Freddo chocolates to take home as well.  (Entry fee is $7.50/pp)

Wouldn't it be nice.....

Cradle Mountain, Launceston (Tasmania - Part 2)

Previously:
Cataract Gorge, Launceston (Tasmania - Part1)

Today, we were driving to Cradle Mountain, the most famous place to visit here.  It's about 140km far from Launceston Central.  We have a clear blue sky, so hopefully we can see the peak of Cradle Mountain today, if we are lucky enough.  On the way there, we stopped at this Melita Honey store where they selling everything made from honey, from different flavoured jam to ice creams.

Once you arrived at the information centre up there at the hill of the mountain, you could either drive with your car entering the National Park (pay the entry fee) or park your car there and ride the shuttle bus ($16.50 pp).  Shuttle bus will make 5 stops with Dove Lake as the last destination and then they make a round way back to the information centre.  The whole journey takes approximately 20 minutes and the bus come every 15 minutes.

The food in here were lovely, I couldn't believe in a small town like this I still can find an authentic Thai food that suit with my palate.  But I found some dishes are a bit overpriced as their serving portion is quite small.

Cataract Gorge, Launceston (Tasmania - Part 1)

We arrived there in Launceston on the Anzac day, at around 11 am the town still very quite, there were not much shops open.  My tummy was already screaming, so we popped in some random cafe along the main road, Banjo's Cafe.  Later on, I just found out that Banjo's actually pretty popular for local with few branches around town.

Although there were not much stores open, but the weather was lovely on that day.  So it cheer me up a little bit.  We took a short walk (about half an hour) from our hotel to Cataract Gorge.  There are actually two ways to reach there.  First, is from tiny mountain side (a small way after the bridge, if you walk from the city central) or from the town itself passing houses.  The first options may sounds very long walk but in fact is it isn't.  The street more flat compared to another way which the street leading you to an up and down steeply. Hotel Grand Chancellor, Launceston

The hotel look a bit old with a colonial touch.  But overall, it is very comfortable and clean with a great location as well.  The staffs were friendly and helpful too.  Nice hotel to stay.

As we thought, it won't be much restaurants open today, we decided to have a fine dinner at the hotel.
