Village Bizarre @ The Rocks

Another interesting event going on for Sydneysiders, which is located in the famous and beautiful spot of  Sydney Harbour, The rocks.  The Village Bizarre runs every Friday night starting at 5:30pm, only until this 23 December.  Plenty of stalls that selling all different type of cloths, scarfs, kitchen wears to magician equipments.  And not forget to mention is a foodie heaven too there as so many food to choose, from light snacks to big main meal and some of them are from the well-known restaurants around The Rocks such as Pony, Wine Odyssey and The Fine Food Store.  Not only that, you will be entertained with awesome performances and shows, also some fun activities that you could participate as well, like silent disco, dancing, laughing club and above all and the most fun for me is Hula Hoop ....

Here are some of the pictures taken on that night.  So, enjoy and Octie Appetie...

'Surprise' performance

Canoli $4.50
The best Canoli I have ever eaten, really tasty and even though the pastry wasn't that crunchy as the cold creamy filling has been sitting there for awhile but that's the good part actually because I wouldn't have a problem with pastry's crumbles messed my tops and pants.

Grilled Chicken Tikka Wrap $10
This wrap was hmm... just alright.  The chicken was a bit too dry but those yoghurt dressing helped moisten up the texture and added flavours onto it.  However, $10 for one wrap is totally a rip off compared to the Wagyu Burger that I was getting later on which much much tastier, bigger and satisfying...

Silent Disco

Wagyu Beef Burger $10
This is the one that I was talking about..  Wagyu Beef Burger, it was massive and super yummy.  The grilled wagyu beef patty served on the bed of rocket leaves, fresh tomatoes and topped with melted cheese and caramelised onion in the Rustic Italian Bread was completely blew my mind away.  Although the queue was pretty long, the service was prompt and we managed to get our oozy-juicy look burger in less than 5 mins.  Umm... impressive !!!

Hula hoop
Its extremely fun, so give it a try!!!!!

This festival will wrap up on 23 December 2011.  They may have different performances and shows in different evening so grab the free program flyers that they handout in the corner of Jack Mundey Place and George Street.  Well, when you are at The Rock, you definitely cant miss this place !!
