Day 1: The B Ikebukuro Hotel
Today we book the Nikko World Heritage and Ninja (Edo Wonderland) one day tour from JTB for ¥14,000. They do several hotels pick up service too. After that, we will all gather at the Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal and depart the tour from there.
Japan people is very on time. We were late arriving at the designed hotel by only 2 minutes and the bus is already gone. Therefore, we have to make our own way to the final departure at Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. We caught taxi as we thought it would be faster and convenient. Turn out, it took us longer nearly half an hour to get there and ¥7,000 out of pocket, what a rip off. But just think the positive way that we can experience cathcing taxi in Tokyo.
The tour will then travel on the Tohokudo road and visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Time given in the shrine was not so long for us who will continue to Edo Wonderland. And no lunch can be included in this tour type as time is very limited. However, we can enjoy lunch at Edo Wonderland as it is suggested.
